Since the first meeting in 1971, the goal of PRYCA has been to support recreational boating activities, promote yachting, boating safety and the advancement of yacht clubs on the Potomac River. In 2002 there will be a new emphasis on boating safety through the PRYCA Safe Boatr (Boat Operation and Training Retention) Program.
